In 1992, the movie Buffy: The Vampire Slayer hit the movie screens. Starring Kristy Swanson as Buffy Summers, the movie is a complete departure from the series which followed. Pure camp and corny as hell, I still enjoyed this movie. In particulare, I absolutely adored Paul Reuben's (aka. Pee Wee Herman) death scene.

In contrast, the television series--which debuted in 1997--skillfully blends horror, drama, and comedy.
